How I work

Brian W Green

I have spent two decades running enterprise technology, most of it as a CIO — FMCG and food manufacturing, a private-equity-backed merger, a statewide emergency service, and a global workforce group with a defence contract attached.

Very little of that work was about the technology on its own. It was about the operating model around it, the governance above it, and whether the investment showed up in the numbers the business is actually judged on. I have carried P&L directly and sat on regional executive boards, which makes for a different conversation than the one most technology vendors are having with you. I build the strategy where a business needs one, and I shape the practical, day-to-day solutions that put it to work.

I am based in Sydney and work across Australia and New Zealand, on site and remotely.
